After scoring with This Is Spinal Tap (1984) and Ghost (1990), she won a place with director Sydney Pollack's production company, Mirage Enterprises, where she worked on Dead Again (1991), co-starring Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson. Faber has published a book of piano music called "Jane Austen's World" (ISBN 3 5) including music from four of the recent adaptations: P2, P&P2, S&S2 and Emma2.This cd has very nice renditions of the Chopin Preludes which are used in the film.
